Experience the vibrant spirit of community and fun this spring at the 'Goode Run,' taking place on May 7, 2027. Participants can register online by April 30 to join us for either a 2K or 5K run through picturesque Osgoode Village. The event promises an engaging mix of terrain and scenery that will keep runners entertained from start to finish. Costume enthusiasts are encouraged to channel their creativity, as participants in the 2K and 5K can enter a random prize draw simply by dressing up! Prizes for costumes will be awarded on both youth and adult levels. Don't forget your furry friends; dogs are welcome too (just ensure they're leashed and well-behaved). Your 'Goode Run' registration includes a unique race medal, personalized bib number, and the chance to participate in an exciting random prize draw. Professional timing by Sportstats will be available for those running the 5K. Post-race festivities include complimentary fruit and water, making it easy to celebrate your achievement with fellow runners. For added flair, you can opt to purchase a race shirt up until April 16 at midnight. Join us as we support the Osgoode Youth Association through this fundraising event. In 2025 alone, 'Goode Run' raised over $30,000 for O-YA! Your participation directly contributes to enhancing the community and ensuring future events like these can continue. The 5K course offers a diverse mix of terrains within Osgoode Village and is timed by Sportstats. Participants in the 2K are free to run or walk; baby joggers, strollers, and all age groups are welcome, making it an inclusive event for everyone. The race will wind through charming streets of our village, creating a memorable experience for all participants.
