Experience the vibrant start of fall with the Gorham Morning Mile, taking place on Saturday, October 17th. This community-focused fun run/walk offers participants a scenic one-mile route through downtown Gorham's charming streets and neighborhoods.
The race begins early in the morning, setting an energetic tone for Go Outside, Gorham day—a full schedule of activities designed to celebrate outdoor living and local culture. After crossing the finish line, runners can explore more of what Gorham has to offer with a variety of events happening throughout the town.
Visitors are encouraged to visit the bustling Gorham Farmers Market, browse through books at the Baxter Memorial Library's Book Fair, or attend a complimentary pop-up yoga session led by The Village Maine starting at 9:00am. These activities provide an engaging way for runners and their families to enjoy the day beyond just the race.
All participants will receive a finishers medal as they complete this inaugural event, marking it as more than just another run but a memorable start to autumn in Gorham.

Gorham is a town in Cumberland County, Maine, United States. The population was 18,336 at the 2020 United States census. In addition to its urban village center known as Gorham Village or simply "the Village," the town encompasses a number of smaller, unincorporated villages and hamlets with distinct historical identities, including South Gorham, West Gorham, Little Falls, White Rock, and North Gorham.
