GOYT VALLEY WILD TRAIL RUNS

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Peak District this Halloween with Wild Deer's inaugural trail run at Goyt Valley on October 31st. The day offers two routes, one stretching to an exhilarating 11 kilometers and a shorter yet equally scenic journey covering 7 kilometers.
The event takes place in the heart of the Peak District, where the natural landscape is both rugged and inviting. Participants will wind through mature woodlands, past historic ruins like Errwood Hall from the 19th century, and enjoy panoramic views over Fernilee and Errwood Reservoirs. The terrain is a mix of heather moorland and lush forests, perfect for trail runners looking to challenge themselves while taking in stunning natural scenery.
Runners will be treated to live chip-timing by Timing Up North, ensuring accurate results as they navigate the well-marked courses. Upon crossing the finish line, participants can look forward to receiving an event medal along with exclusive Wild Deer merchandise and refreshments provided at the end of their run.
