Graham Clark Memorial Race 2026

The Graham Clark Memorial Race returns to Knockhill Racing Circuit by Dunfermline on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026, starting at 7:15 PM. Organized annually since 2004 by Carnegie Harriers Running Club in honor of the late coach Graham Clark, this year’s event will also pay tribute to Andy Soutar and Catherine Wilson with special memorial trophies.
The race course features three full laps around Knockhill's undulating track, covering a total distance of 3.9 miles on tarmac suitable for ordinary trainers or racing shoes. The circuit offers an exhilarating challenge as runners navigate the varied terrain under the night sky.
Entry is limited to 225 participants and will be managed through EntryCentral only. Early entrants can secure their spot with pre-race entry fees of £8.00 for Scottish Athletics members and £10.00 for non-members, payable online. Race numbers must be collected between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM on the day from the Paddock Café and Bar.
Parking is available within the grounds with clear signage to guide attendees. Registration will operate efficiently under a one-way system designed to minimize congestion. There are no changing facilities at Knockhill Racing Circuit, so runners should arrive prepared for their run.
Post-race refreshments include a buffet featuring an array of options such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices. Allergies aside, the event encourages everyone to enjoy responsibly by bringing their own water bottles or reusable cups for beverages.
Proceeds from this year’s race will be donated to local charities including Dunfermline Foodbank and Eats Rosyth. The competition is fierce with prizes awarded to outright winners as well as first-place finishers in various age categories, ensuring a rewarding experience across different levels of runners.
