About the Event

Join us for the 10th annual 4th of July Stars and Strides 5k Run/Walk around the beautiful Grand Lake in Rockville, MN. Registration begins at 0730 at the Grand Lake boat landing where there is parking available. The race begins promptly at 0800 and will finish up with refreshments at the Flag Raising ceremony at 9am. There is about a one mile walk back to the Grand Lake boat landing where cars are parked. Those who are registered before June 26th are guaranteed to receive a hoodie and the opportunity to win one of many door prizes! You may sign up through July 2nd online or on the morning of the event. *Sign-up the morning of the event will have a price increase of $5.

Parking is available at the Grand Lake boat landing. There is a port a potty available for use.

Runners and walkers will begin at 8am.

*This is NOT a chip-timed event

*There will be prizes for top finishers, and there will a chance for all participants to win door prizes!

*Those not participating in the event that live around the lake are encouraged to cheer on runners, play music, decorate their driveways, etc.
