Gravel Ride Jamaica with Peter Aldridge

Experience the breathtaking landscapes of Jamaica during the three-day Trelawny Cycling Adventure, led by 3x Olympian Peter Aldridge. Embark on scenic routes that wind through lush hills and follow the picturesque Martha Brae River. Explore the community where sprint legend Usain Bolt grew up, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness.
The event is designed for riders seeking both challenge and camaraderie amidst stunning views. Fully supported with no drop zones ensure your safety and enjoyment throughout the journey. SAG support will be available on all days, along with experienced ride leaders who are passionate about cycling in Jamaica. Hydration stops within communities not only replenish you but also support local businesses recovering from Hurricane Melissa.
Medical teams will be present to provide assistance should it be needed, sponsored by the Jamaica Tourist Board. Each day’s ride includes a continental breakfast and lunch, ensuring your energy levels remain high throughout the adventure.
The event spans across three days with varying distances:
- Day 1: Choose between 37 miles (3,148 ft elevation) or 51 miles (4,000 ft elevation)
- Day 2: Ride a scenic 53 miles (4,000 ft elevation)
- Day 3: Conclude with a more manageable 32 miles (2,500 ft elevation)
Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. A limited number of rooms are reserved at Glistening Waters Hotel near Luminous Lagoon for an additional cost. Detailed information on other lodging options will be provided upon request after your registration.
Reliable transportation services from Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay and around town can be arranged through locally owned, independent tour companies run by fellow cyclists at a supplementary fee. These tours also offer excursions to various destinations of interest.
