Cardinia Fun Run and Walk returns for another year, promising an engaging day of activity at Deep Creek Reserve in Pakenham on Sunday, February 28th, 2027. The lineup includes the popular 5km run and walk options as well as a challenging 10km route that caters to runners with varying levels of experience. The event also features an exciting twist: the return of the 2.5km Colour Run for kids, which was met with great enthusiasm in previous years. Participants will have the opportunity to raise funds for the Cardinia Community Foundation by joining this vibrant and fun-filled day out at Deep Creek Reserve, known for its picturesque wetlands and award-winning park facilities. The event kicks off early on Sunday morning with bib collection starting from 7:00am both online and onsite at Deep Creek Reserve. The main events begin promptly at 8:00am with the start of the 10km run, followed by a 5km run at 9:15am. Families can enjoy the specially designed Kids Colour Run for little ones from 10:00am to add some color and excitement to their day. For those who prefer walking or bringing along dogs and prams, there's also a welcoming 5km walk starting just after the kids' run at 10:15am. All participants are encouraged to join in this family-friendly event that celebrates community spirit while supporting local causes. The venue offers scenic routes through lush wetlands and alongside the golf course, making for an enjoyable experience whether you're running or walking.
