GravelMan Annecy invites cyclists from across France and beyond to explore the breathtaking landscapes surrounding Lake Annecy in Haute-Savoie. This ultra-distance cycling event offers both Gravel and Road formats, catering to riders of all skill levels with five distinct distances: 500 km, 350 km, 200 km, 120 km, and 60 km. The terrain is a mix of deep blue lakes, towering mountains, dense forests, alpine pastures, tracks, trails, and lesser-used roads. Each route presents its own set of challenges with steep climbs, technical sections, rural stretches, and stunning mountain vistas. The longest distance, the 500 km course, includes an impressive elevation gain of around 8,000 meters and combines elements from both the 350 km and 200 km routes. For those seeking a more manageable challenge, the 350 km route offers approximately 6,000 meters of ascent and is considered an expert-level course. The 200 km distance serves as an ideal entry point for newcomers to GravelMan, providing a mix of terrain that showcases both gravel paths and traditional roadways. Shorter distances like the 120 km route include around 2,500 meters of elevation gain, while the 60 km course features roughly 1,000 meters of ascent. This shorter option is designed to be accessible for all riders, making GravelMan Annecy a versatile event that appeals to both seasoned cyclists and those just beginning their cycling journey. Participants can look forward to an unforgettable experience as they pedal through the picturesque scenery of Haute-Savoie, testing their limits against challenging terrain while enjoying the serene beauty of one of France's most iconic regions.
