Great Barrow Challenge Day 6

Experience the thrill of The Great Barrow Challenge at Suffolk Running Centre on August 3, 2027. This exclusive venue offers runners an array of challenging routes over ten days, each with its unique terrain and scenery.
On Day Six, participants will tackle the Golding Hills course, a picturesque out-and-back loop that spans 10 kilometers (6.5 miles). The route features rolling hills with climbs totaling 100 meters in elevation. Runners can choose from various distances: complete one loop for 10k, two loops for half marathon, four loops for full marathon, or add an extra challenge by completing five loops for the ultra distance.
Those opting for a shorter run will be directed to a designated turnpoint at 5 kilometers and then retraced their steps back to Suffolk Running Centre. Each route is carefully designed with safety in mind, ensuring runners can enjoy breathtaking views while navigating open roads that wind through scenic landscapes.
The event includes complimentary parking, making it easy for participants to focus on the run ahead. A water/aid station will be available at Race HQ/Base Camp where runners can hydrate and refuel throughout their journey. Additionally, all finishers receive a bespoke medal celebrating their achievement.
To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone involved, please note that no dogs or buggies are permitted due to safety concerns on the open roads. Headphones are restricted except for bone conduction devices to maintain awareness of surroundings at all times.
