Great Scott Classic Bike Ride

Celebrate the Fourth of July with the Great Scott Cycling Club's festive ride through scenic countryside! Starting and finishing at Lakefront Park, this well-marked course winds through the picturesque landscapes of Scott County on county roads. The day begins early with a family-friendly atmosphere as riders gather for registration starting at 7:15 am.
Two routes are available to suit every pace—25 miles kicking off at 8:15 am and a more challenging 50-mile route setting out half an hour later, at 8 am. Both courses offer ample SAG support from Tonka Cycles, ensuring that you stay on track with well-stocked rest stops along the way.
Lakefront Park provides convenient parking and a spacious pavilion for on-site registration, where cash or checks are accepted. Helmets are mandatory to ensure everyone's safety. Post-ride festivities include a complete lunch catered by local favorites, making this an event not just about cycling but also about community and enjoyment.
Navigating the course is simple with clear arrows guiding you along the pavement. For those preferring digital maps, GPX files for both routes can be accessed via links provided below or emailed directly to participants. No need to subscribe; simply load these files into your preferred device or print out cue sheets if you prefer a paper map.
Registration fees are as follows:
- Earlybird (through June 4): Youth $15, Adults $25
- Mid-June through June 20: Youth $15, Adults $30
- After June 20: Youth $20, Adults $35
