About the Event

Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Sleepy Hollow Lake for an unforgettable triathlon experience hosted by the Greene County YMCA. This family-friendly event combines three disciplines: a 350-yard swim, followed by a scenic 11.5-mile bike ride and culminates with a 5K run through picturesque routes.
Participants will enjoy chip timing throughout the race to ensure accurate results for all competitors. Upon registration, every entrant receives a drawstring bag, swim cap, as well as complimentary post-race food and refreshments.
Registration fees are tiered based on timing:
- Early Pre-Registration (until August 18): $75 for individuals or $120 for teams.
- Late Registration begins August 19: $90 for individuals or $135 for teams.
In the event of a Blue Green Algae Bloom, safety measures dictate that the swim portion will be replaced with an additional running segment, transforming this into a duathlon.
Awards are given to top performers across various categories:
- Overall Male and Female winners
- First-place non-binary athlete
- Team award for first place
- Top three male and female finishers in each age group: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and over 70+
