This east coast adventure through the Commonwealth's largest state forest combines the excitement of mountain bike enduro with the laid-back charm of a gravel grinder road race. The main event, Grinduro, spans 79 miles over four timed stages, providing ample opportunities for glory seekers to test their skills on a course that features 6,500 feet of climbing and 66% unpaved surfaces. For those seeking a more manageable challenge, the Grindurito offers a 42-mile route with 3,400 feet of elevation gain and 64% unpaved sections. Participants can look forward to starting their day with a hearty Saturday breakfast complete with coffee, eggs, and all-you-can-eat pancakes. Throughout your ride, you'll find well-stocked aid stations ensuring that you stay fueled and energized. After the race, enjoy post-ride refreshments including 2 free beers from New Trail Brewing, as well as an array of non-alcoholic beverages. The party atmosphere continues with a DJ'd after-party celebrating the day's achievements. In addition to the main event, there will be an expo featuring handbuilt bike displays and plenty for spectators. Completing your ride earns you a finisher medal; if you're among the top performers, you'll also receive a podium prize. For those looking to stay overnight, tent, camper van, or RV parking is available at the venue for just $10. While there are limited electric hookups on-site, assistance can be arranged upon request.
