Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Growing Minds Take Flight 5K! All proceeds from this race go directly to Lawrence County, AR children with disabilities. The Growing Minds Foundation funds scholarships for children with disabilities to help with expenses for medical equipment, special surgery, specialty toys, etc! We welcome you to join us on Saturday, June 1st at the Walnut Ridge, AR Airport for the first Take Flight event!

Walnut Ridge is a city in and the county seat of Lawrence County, Arkansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, Walnut Ridge had a population of 5,384. Walnut Ridge lies immediately north of Hoxie. The two towns form a contiguous urban area with approximately 8,000 residents. Williams Baptist University is in College City, a formerly separate community that merged into Walnut Ridge in 2017.
