For families looking to enjoy a fun-filled evening together, the race organizers have introduced kids races starting at 5:30 PM. The younger set can participate in either a 1K run designed specifically for children aged 3 to 8 years or a slightly longer 2K event tailored for those between 8 and 11 years old. Parents are welcome to join their little ones without any additional charge, making it an inclusive family-friendly affair.
In addition to the main races, Haldon Night has expanded its offerings with canicross options this year, inviting dog lovers to bring their furry friends along for a unique 10K run under starlit skies. All participants are required to wear either a head or chest torch during the event, ensuring visibility and safety throughout.
Race day amenities include professional RFID chip timing systems, fully marked routes with clear signage, and medical support from trained professionals stationed strategically around the course. Competitors will also be treated to water stations along the way, providing essential hydration for the duration of their run. Upon crossing the finish line, all participants receive a stunning medal as well as access to catered refreshments.
