The Hale Harvest 5K Run has returned to Hale Farm & Village! The annual Harvest Festival Weekend is a cherished fall tradition for Northeast Ohio families and schoolchildren. Come celebrate the season’s bounty surrounded by the sights, sounds, and flavors of autumn at Hale Farm & Village. Experience how food was prepared and preserved for winter, press apple cider with antique farm equipment, grind and shell corn, make and sample apple butter, and enjoy fresh, old-fashioned popcorn. Hale Farm & Village will celebrate the Harvest on October 5-6 and 10-11 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The barnyards come to life with harvest activities and animals, including chickens, oxen, and sheep. Guests can enjoy pumpkin painting, wagon rides through the scenic grounds, a giant hay pile for kids to explore, and plenty of seasonal tastes and samples. This festive weekend, filled with fall fun for all ages, happens rain or shine. Admission includes all festival activities plus Hale Farm’s traditional crafts and trades demonstrations.
Race Details
The run takes place Saturday, October 11, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., winding through the village, sugar bush, pastures, and scenic trails on paved, grass, and gravel surfaces.
