About the Event

Embrace the vibrant fall ambiance as you participate in the 2026 Halloween Hustle, returning to Flint, Michigan on October 24. This beloved race series celebrates its third edition with an array of routes designed for runners and families alike.
Begin your journey at Crossroads Village, where temperatures are expected to be a comfortable 12.6°C, though the gentle breeze might make it feel slightly crisp. Multiple distance options cater to all skill levels: take on the competitive walk or run over 5 kilometers through beautifully decorated streets and picturesque trails; challenge yourself with the half marathon route that spans 21 kilometers along the Flint River/Iron Belle Trail, passing by landmarks such as Mott Lake and Stepping Stone Falls.
For younger participants, two trick-or-trot races are available: a quarter-mile or half-mile loop around Crossroads Village. Gather early at this charming village hub for your race morning festivities.
Upon completion of your run or walk, you'll receive a special finisher’s medal inspired by the historic setting. Tech shirts and themed refreshments will be on hand to celebrate your efforts post-race. Early registration is available with reduced fees: $75 for half marathon training or competitive runs/walks; $35 for 5K options.
Packet pick-up can be convenient at the Crim Office from October 23, between 12:00-6:00 pm, or on race day starting from 5:30 am until just before the event begins. Remember to bring your own race number and timing chip if necessary!

Flint is an industrial city an hour northwest of Detroit in Michigan. It was the home of many General Motors factories, including the Buick World Headquarters, Flint has fallen on hard times over the past 30 years due to the decline of the American automotive industry.
