About the Event

Get ready for an eerie yet exhilarating Halloween Run, hosted by Circuit Running in Northampton. This 6-hour endurance challenge invites runners and walkers of all ages to test their limits across a variety of distances on the scenic public footpaths.
The course features laps that are approximately 4.37 miles long, allowing participants to complete segments ranging from 5k up to an ultra marathon within the time limit. You can start your final lap as late as 5:59 PM and still be eligible for all event benefits. The route includes a turn point at 5 kilometers, with subsequent distances marked accordingly.
Aid stations are conveniently placed along each lap's end, providing essential hydration options like water, squash, fizzy drinks, and snacks to keep you fueled throughout the run. Be mindful of other path users as this public footpath event requires courtesy towards everyone sharing the space.
Registration opens at 8:30 AM on race day for a start time promptly at 9:00 AM. Participants will receive an exclusive Halloween Run medal upon completion, along with a goody bag filled with treats to celebrate your achievement.
Toilets are available at the venue but there are no changing facilities or showers provided. Parking is plentiful and car-sharing is encouraged to minimize environmental impact. A secure area for personal belongings near the start/finish line will be set aside, though valuables should not be left unattended due to limited supervision.

This Halloween Run is licensed by the Trail Running Association and adheres strictly to UKA Athletics rules, offering a safe and engaging environment for runners of all ages from 12 upwards with specific distance guidelines in place:
- Age 12-13: 5 kilometers
- Age 14-15: 6 kilometers
- Age 16+: No upper limit
