About the Event

On March 7, 2027, the annual Half of Oostvoorne race returns, organized by OVV and Voorne Atletiek. Participants can register until March 5, 2027, while start numbers are still available.
The event features a traditional half marathon distance of 21 kilometers alongside an 8-kilometer run. Both races commence simultaneously at noon from the starting point near OVV in Oostvoorne. The race route winds through scenic landscapes and charming neighborhoods, offering runners a mix of flat terrain and slight elevation changes.
Additionally, this year's event includes popular Kids Runs for younger participants: a one-kilometer run starting at 11:00 AM and a two-kilometer run beginning shortly after at 11:15 AM. These shorter races provide an exciting introduction to running for children in the community.
For more detailed information, including course maps and updates on race day logistics, visit www.dehalvevanoostvoorne.nl. If you have any questions not covered by the FAQ section of the website, feel free to contact the event organizers at info@dehalvevanoostvoorne.nl.
The Half of Oostvoorne is a community-focused event that welcomes runners and their families for an enjoyable day out in one of the Netherlands' most picturesque locations.
