About the Event

Harbin Branch Veterans Run

The 4th annual Veterans Run returns to Doe Mountain Recreation Area with a new name and new distance options. All events run on Doe Mountain's nonmotorized trail system. This is a USATF sanctioned event. All 4- and 6-mile participants will receive a race logo beanie and a finisher award. There is no race t-shirt To keep the entry fee as low as possible, 1K Fun Walk registration does not include a beanie. You may add one at registration for $20. Award Categories Top 3 women & men in both distances Top woman & man veteran in both distances

Course

Both running events have a 2.5-hour cutoff time. The 1K fun walk is untimed. 4 mile ~350 ft elevation gain Utilizes the hiking loop (Trail 2) and the switchbacks behind the Adventure Center (Trail 112) 6 mile ~600 ft elevation gain Runs on the 4-mile course plus a new loop connected to Trail 2
