Harrogate Triathlon 2027

Set against the backdrop of Harrogate's picturesque spa town, the Harrogate Triathlon offers an inviting challenge for both seasoned athletes and newcomers alike. Organized by the dedicated Harrogate Tri Club, this event features distances tailored to accommodate all levels of experience.
The day kicks off with a Super Sprint at 08:00 AM, featuring a swim in the calm waters followed by a bike ride through scenic routes and concluding with an energizing run along picturesque paths. For those looking for a more substantial challenge, the main Sprint event begins promptly at 09:00 AM, offering participants the opportunity to test their endurance over longer distances.
Friendly marshals will be on hand throughout the day to provide guidance and encouragement as you navigate each leg of your journey. The swim segment takes place in waves between 8:00 am and 13:00 pm, with faster swimmers starting later based on estimated times for a smooth transition process.
Competitors can expect ample free parking at Rossett Secondary School, conveniently located just around the corner from the race venue. Refreshments will be available within the event village to help you refuel after your efforts. Upon crossing the finish line, all participants are awarded with a well-deserved goodie bag and medal.
A detailed Athlete Guide is scheduled for release two weeks prior to race day, providing essential information about course maps, transition areas, and other crucial details. Estimated start times will be communicated via email on Wednesday of the week before the event, while final start times will be confirmed by Friday.
Podium prizes are up for grabs in both Sprint and Super Sprint categories, with top three finishers receiving recognition across open and female divisions. Age group winners also have a chance to earn accolades from 15-70 years old, alongside course record holders.
