Harvest Run

Embrace the spirit of Thanksgiving with the Leesburg Harvest Run, returning for its 12th year on November 26, 2026. This beloved tradition invites runners to start their holiday morning early and "earn your turkey" by taking part in a scenic run through the heart of Leesburg.
The event offers two race distances: a swift and flat 5K and a more challenging yet equally picturesque 10K, both setting off at 8:30AM sharp from 102 Starksville Ave N. This central location is conveniently situated near the town’s tag office, making it easy to find.
Registration opens early online for those looking to secure their spot with the best possible price. On-site check-in and race day registration are also available starting at 7:30AM.
Participants can look forward to a well-organized course that winds through Leesburg's charming streets. The route is designed to be both enjoyable and competitive, featuring water stops strategically placed along the way for hydration during your run. For the 10K runners, there are two opportunities to hydrate; meanwhile, those in the shorter race will find one carefully positioned stop.
The event culminates with a range of awards celebrating achievement across all ages and genders: top three overall finishers in both races along with age group winners from nine years old up to 70+. This ensures that every participant has an opportunity to shine during this festive morning celebration.
