Step into the heart of Hassmer Fest, returning to Versailles State Park from October 9th to 11th, 2026. This three-day mountain bike festival offers something for every skill level and passion—whether you're a seasoned rider or just starting out. Versailles State Park provides an unparalleled backdrop with its miles of flowing single-track trails. The park’s trail system is the result of dedicated volunteer efforts over many years, ensuring that riders experience pristine conditions throughout their journey. From beginners to experts, there's plenty to explore and enjoy. Pre-registration for Hassmer Fest costs $75 from March 1st to October 7th, 2026. Day-of-event registration is available at the event site for $90 in cash, check, or credit card via Square. For those looking to tackle a full trail system challenge, the Ride-em-All Challenge requires pre-registration and an additional fee of $20 for a comfortable “trail” style hat from Cognative Mountain Biking. On October 10th, participants can join one of two MTB Skills Clinics designed to enhance riding techniques. The Beginner/Intermediate clinic runs from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and is perfect for those with some experience who wish to refine their skills further. Meanwhile, the Kids Beginner clinic from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM caters specifically to young riders aged six and above. Evening entertainment includes a group campfire on Friday night followed by a Bling-your-bike event for kids. Live music will entertain visitors throughout Saturday evening until 10:30 PM, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and fun. The festival opens its gates at 3:00 PM on October 9th and concludes no later than noon on Sunday, October 11th. All participants must clear the event space by 5:00 PM to ensure a smooth transition for everyone involved.
