About the Event

Be a Hero at Heart Well Homestead’s Superhero Strides 5K!

Get ready to run, walk, and make a difference! Superhero Strides 5K is your chance to lace up, suit up, and support homeless pregnant and parenting mothers in our community. Join us on June 7 at Rulf’s Orchard (531 Bear Swamp Rd, Peru, NY) for a fun-filled race through the beautiful countryside—all while raising vital funds for Heart Well Homestead, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing safe housing and essential support for homeless mothers and their children in Clinton, Essex, and Franklin Counties.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just looking for a great time with family and friends, this event is for you! All skill levels are welcome, and superhero costumes are encouraged!

Event Schedule:

10:00 AM – Registration Opens
10:30 AM – Kids 1K Fun Run
11:00 AM – 5K Run/Walk Begins

What to Expect:
Prizes for race winners & best costumes
Commemorative t-shirts for all runners
Delicious food from Adirondack Food Therapy

Race Fees:
Runners – $30 each ($35 on race day)
Kids 12 & Under – FREE!
