About the Event

Starting November 15 at Hengdian World Studios, Dongyang, Zhejiang, this race caps at 22,000 runners split between a marathon (42.195km, 5,000 spots) and half marathon (21.0975km, 17,000 spots). Registration opens July 1 at 10:00, first-come first-served.
Unlike a typical city road race, Hengdian's biggest draw is running through actual film and TV sets -- the course links the studios' Ming-Qing Palace, Qin Palace, and "Along the River During Qingming Festival" zones, plus the Chinese Cultural Theme Park and the New Yuanmingyuan Palace's gardens. Costumed extras cheer runners on along the way, with classic film-set photo spots throughout.
Entry fees: marathon 180rmb, half marathon 150rmb.
