Heritage Classical Academy 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Heritage Classical Academy is excited to announce its inaugural fundraising event, featuring both a competitive 5K race and a family-friendly 1-mile fun run. Set against the scenic backdrop of The Gospel (108 Sanctuary Road, Ruston, LA), this cross-country style course offers runners an engaging mix of grass terrain.
Proceeds from the race will support Heritage's mission to expand its educational offerings by adding second and third grades for the upcoming academic year, building on a foundation that currently includes Kindergarten through First Grade. The event aims to foster community engagement while raising funds crucial for furthering the school’s growth.
Participants have two options: the 5K race designed for more serious runners seeking a challenge, or the 1-mile fun run which is perfect for families and casual participants of all ages. Race packages are available for pickup at Calvary Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 24 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM, as well as on race day starting at 7 AM until 7:45 AM at The Gospel.
Registration early guarantees an exclusive event T-shirt, and referring five friends can earn you a $20 refund. Awards will be given for overall male and female winners in the 5K category, along with age group awards across various brackets (U10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+). The same applies to the fun run with overall male and female awards.
