Returning for its third edition on September 13, 2026, the Hermi'trail invites runners to experience an exceptional trail running journey near Tours and Vendôme. Situated approximately 50 minutes from Blois and one hour from Le Mans, this event takes place in the serene setting of the Brossard Hermitage Pond. Participants can choose between three scenic routes: a challenging 21 km trail for seasoned runners, a shorter but equally picturesque 9 km course through lush forests and rolling hills, or an accessible 6 km option suitable for both walking and running. Additionally, there's a fun race designed specifically for children aged 7 to 11. The event offers more than just the run; it’s about immersing oneself in the natural beauty of central France. The trail winds through vales, woodlands, and fields, offering breathtaking views around every corner. For those who prefer a leisurely pace, there's also a Nordic walking or hiking option on the 9 km route. On-site amenities include food stalls and refreshment stations to ensure participants can enjoy their time in a relaxed atmosphere with friends and family. The event kicks off at 9:00 AM for the longest trail run and continues throughout the morning with various start times allocated based on distance and activity type, ensuring everyone has an enjoyable experience. To participate, all runners must adhere to the guidelines set by the French Federation of Athletics (FFA). This includes presenting either a valid FFA license or a recent Pass Prévention Santé (PPS) attestation. No medical certificates will be accepted for this event as per current regulations enforced since September 1st, 2024. Registration can be completed online up until September 11th at midnight or on the day of the race from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM at the Brossard Hermitage Pond. Dossiers will also be available for collection during this time frame, with space limited only by availability.
