About the Event

The HiPRO Utrecht Marathon takes place on Sunday, 31 May 2026 in Utrecht, Netherlands, supported by Utrecht Science Park. This event for young and old runs along the highlights of the Domstad, combining a historic city center with beautiful green surroundings for a unique running experience. The start and finish are at Utrecht Science Park. Distances include a full marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.1 km), 10 km, NK Half Marathon, Utrecht Science Park Mini Marathon, Business Runs (21.1 km and 10 km), and the Utregse Studentenbokaal (10 km). The event supports KWF Kankerbestrijding through the "Ren tegen kanker" campaign — runners who raise €500 or more receive a unique Ren tegen kanker shirt.

Ren tegen kanker (Run against cancer):

1 in 2 people in the Netherlands will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives.
KWF focuses on prevention, early detection, more targeted treatments, and better quality of life.
Raise donations through your KWF action page.
Buy your ticket via the HiPRO Utrecht Marathon website, create your KWF action page, and receive the unique Ren tegen kanker shirt if you raise €500 or more.
Sign up via KWF and KWF will buy your ticket if you raise €750 before 13 April 2026 (free Ren tegen kanker shirt at €500+).

Bib numbers:

You can choose to have your bib mailed to a Dutch address until 19 April 2026 (€3.50).
Bib pickup is available on Saturday, 30 May and Sunday, 31 May at the event site.

All distances use a rolling start in waves. Each wave lasts approximately 10 minutes. For example, if you start the HiPRO Half Marathon in wave 2, you will start between 9:15 AM and 9:24 AM.
