Hollis Heat: Time Trials

The annual Hollis Hills Farm Race invites runners to traverse three exhilarating miles through winding trails and scenic fire roads that wind their way around this picturesque farm.
The race begins at 8 am sharp from a park opening as early as dawn, with bib pickup available between 7:10 am and 7:50 am. The course itself is an adventure in elevation change, featuring a challenging initial loop of 200 feet before transitioning into a serene out-and-back stretch along the farm’s fire road.
Aid stations are thoughtfully placed throughout the route, offering runners a variety of sustenance options including pickles, cereal, pretzels, candy, fruit, and bacon. Hydration needs are met with water, Tailwind energy drink, and an array of sodas to keep you fueled for every mile. The station also provides essential first aid supplies should any racer require assistance.
Participants must wear their bibs prominently on the front of their clothing throughout the race, ensuring they remain visible at all times. Trekking poles are permitted, offering additional support as runners navigate varying terrain and weather conditions that can range from rain to foggy mornings. The cutoff time for completing this picturesque course is set at 10 hours.
Upon crossing the finish line, every participant receives a unique handmade pottery medal crafted by BlueGill Pottery, each one distinctively different yet equally special. Race results are posted on UltrasignUp.com shortly after the event concludes.
This private race welcomes both runners and walkers but strictly prohibits dogs and strollers for safety reasons. Pre-race registration is mandatory; entry fees are non-refundable even in cases of cancellation due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
