Holy Trinity Catholic Church Titan Trot - 5K run/walk & 1K fun run

The Titan Trot returns this fall, offering runners and walkers of all ages an engaging opportunity on Saturday, September 12th, 2026. Hosted by Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Holy Trinity Catholic School, and the Holy Trinity Athletic Association at their picturesque location in Fairview Heights, Illinois, the event promises a memorable day for participants.
The main attraction is the 5K run/walk that kicks off promptly at 8:00 AM from the church's parking lot. The course features an out-and-back route with clear views of the surrounding area, making it ideal for both competitive runners and casual walkers alike. Immediately following the conclusion of the 5K event, a fun-filled Kids Fun Run will take place, providing young participants aged up to nine years old with their own race experience.
Awards are given to recognize outstanding performance in various categories. Overall male and female finishers receive special prizes, while top three athletes in each age group (divided into multiple brackets ranging from 9 & under through to 60+) earn medals during the post-race awards ceremony that will be held after the Kids Fun Run.
Packet pick-up is available on Friday, September 11th between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM outside Holy Trinity Church. Alternatively, participants can collect their packets at registration from 6:30 to 7:45 AM on race day itself. Early registrants who sign up by August 21st will secure a guaranteed event shirt for just $30 per entrant in the 5K category or $20 for kids participating in the Fun Run.
For those interested, family packages offering four registrations at a discounted rate of $85 are also available. Late registrants and day-of participants can still join but may incur higher fees: $35 for adults entering on race day for the 5K event, or $25 if they opt to run in the Kids Fun Run.
