Honor Float Fundraiser Benefiting The Eastern Iowa Honor Flights Float

Join us for the exhilarating 8th Annual Honor Float, set to take place on Saturday, July 11th. The day kicks off with an adventurous kayak trip from Veteran’s Memorial Park in Central City, Iowa, to F.B. & Company Bar in Waubeek. All proceeds will support Eastern Iowa Honor Flight, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing air travel for wartime veterans to Washington D.C., enabling them to tour the National Memorials built in their honor.
After your kayak adventure, head back to Veteran’s Memorial Park where you'll find an array of festivities continuing into the afternoon. Enjoy live music from Full Circle and explore various food vendors offering treats and non-alcoholic beverages. Golf cart rides will transport you from the park to AMVets Post 37 for additional refreshments that can be brought back to the main area.
The event promises a day filled with camaraderie, entertainment, and celebration. Door prizes await participants, and raffle tickets are available on site. For those looking to support our cause early, pre-registration ends July 1st and includes a swag bag packed with snacks, free-drink wristbands, door prize entries, and more.

Parking options include designated areas outside the park and shuttle services that run from 1pm to 5pm. For those starting their journey later in the morning, shuttles will also operate between Veteran’s Memorial Park and F.B. & Company Bar in Waubeek, ensuring a seamless experience for all participants.
