Humans only please, horses and dogs may take part virtually!
Virtual Challenge: Beginning on November 8th, and continuing for the next 22 days (Nov 30th), EquiCenter invites you to complete 2.2 miles virtually to raise awareness for the 22 veterans and active military members who die by suicide each day. By running, walking, horseback riding - or any other means you choose to be active - you will raise awareness of this crisis and help support our Veteran programming. Learn more about the host city, Honeoye Falls.
Honeoye Falls is a village within the town of Mendon in Monroe County, New York, United States. The population was 2,706 at the 2020 census. The village is sited next to a small waterfall on Honeoye Creek, which gives the village its name. The name "Honeoye" comes from the Seneca word ha-ne-a-yah, which means "lying finger", or "where the finger lies". The name comes from the local story of a Native American whose finger was bitten by a rattlesnake and who therefore cut off his finger with a tomahawk.
