Nestled in the heart of Hope, British Columbia, lies an annual trail race that challenges runners to conquer the steep and scenic Hope Lookout Trail. This thrilling one-way course spans 2.25 kilometers with a formidable ascent of 470 meters, culminating at the summit during the second Saturday in September as part of Hope Brigade Days.
The route winds through lush forests, offering breathtaking views that reward every step taken uphill. Participants must navigate rugged terrain and steep climbs within an hour and fifteen minutes to reach the finish line where all runners gather for a celebratory conclusion.
