The 100km, 22km, 50km events have been running for several years now, each one growing in popularity and participation numbers. The course venue offers a diverse terrain that tests both endurance and skill. Runners can expect a mix of rocky paths, gentle ascents, and descents through the native bushland. At race start, runners will line up at the Tumbarumba Showgrounds, where they can expect a temperature range of 8 to 18 degrees Celsius and a humidity level around 65%. The average wind speed is about nine miles per hour (around 9.3 meters per second), which may create a slight chill in the air but should not be overly challenging for participants.
The Hume & Hovell Ultra offers distances of 100km, 22km, and 50km, along with an additional 11km event and relay options. The race also includes a Kids & Family Fun Run at one kilometre in length to cater to younger runners and their families.

Early bird fees are A$90 for 22km, A$150 for 50km, and A$230 for the 100km event. Participants in the 100km relay must register as a team captain or member before October 1st.
Bibs can be picked up at Tumbarumba Showgrounds on Saturday, October 7th from 4pm to 8pm and Sunday, October 8th between 9am and noon. Runners should bring photo ID for verification purposes.
The start location is the Tumbarumba Showgrounds; participants must ensure they are aged 16 or over as per the event requirements. First-timers may want to arrive early on race day to familiarize themselves with the area, check in, and perhaps grab a warm-up jog before the big run.
