Hundred Hills 50km

About the Event

The Hundred Hills 50km, returning for its fifth year as the season opener in 2027, invites trail runners through the captivating Chiltern countryside. The race starts and finishes at historic Stonor Park, an estate with roots dating back over eight centuries, providing a picturesque setting that enhances the runner's experience.
Spanning two separate yet interconnected loops of 25km each, this challenging course offers approximately 4000 feet in elevation gain as it winds through ancient woodlands and charming villages. The trail is known for its diverse terrain, featuring both technical sections with rocky outcrops and smoother stretches along quiet country lanes.
With a generous nine-hour cutoff time, the Hundred Hills caters to runners of various abilities—from those seeking their first ultra-distance experience to seasoned athletes aiming for fast times early in the year. Spectators can enjoy the event's lively atmosphere from Stonor Park grounds, where food and drink vendors offer refreshments and create an inviting space for friends and family.
Participants have the option to purchase XCover insurance, ensuring they may receive a refund if unforeseen circumstances prevent them from participating on race day.
The Hundred Hills 50km promises not only a memorable running challenge but also an immersive journey through some of England's most enchanting landscapes.
