Husky Pack Mutt Strut 5K Run/Walk

The Husky Pack Mutt Strut 5K isn't just a race; it's our chance to make school a fundamentally more supportive and exciting place.  All funds raised are dedicated to developing our very own on-campus Therapy Dog Park!

This park won't just be for play-it will be a vital "outdoor classroom" where students can integrate:

• Essential Skills: Students will incorporate Occupational Therapy (OT), speech therapy, gross motor skills, and functional coommunication in a dynamic, natural setting.

• Vocational Training: Older students can gain valuable life and vocaional skills by learning to manage and maintain the park facility.

• Community Outreach:  The park will serve as a welcoming hub for other Forsyth County schools, creating opportunities for peers to visit, connect, and meet our incredible Haw Creek Therapy Dog team.

• Celebrating Positive Choices:  Beyond targeted therapies, we believe in celebrating our students' positive decisions.  The Therapy Dog Park will become a premier PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support) incentive.  We look forward to seeing students earn well-deserved time to play, connect, and relax in the park, motivated by the joy our therapy dog team brings to Haw Creek everyday.

Friday, November 6th from 4.-6pm at Haw Creek Elementary School - 2555 Echols Rd, Cumming Ga

TSHIRTS:

All particpants registered by 10/14/2025 will be guarenteed a race tshirt.
