Hyderabad Runners’ Club presents the eagerly awaited 18th edition of its signature run on February 21, 2027. This year’s event is set to take place within the serene and lush grounds of Hyderabad Central University in Gachibowli, offering runners a unique blend of scenic beauty and support. The race, which began as an initiative to promote supported running events in Hyderabad back in 2009, has evolved into a beloved community gathering. This year’s event features three distances: the challenging 32-kilometer (20-mile) category, the half marathon, and the invigorating 10K run. Participants will enjoy a traffic-free route surrounded by greenery throughout their journey, making it an ideal escape from urban life's daily stresses. The university’s campus is not only beautiful but also serves as a biodiversity hotspot, providing runners with a refreshing atmosphere that rejuvenates both body and mind. For the 20th anniversary of Hyderabad Runners Society, a special category has been added to celebrate this milestone: the 32-kilometer run with an expected cutoff time of four hours. This addition allows seasoned runners to challenge themselves while supporting a worthy cause through donations to the HR Charity Program Project Champion. Registration options include both t-shirt and no-tshirt categories for all distances, giving participants flexibility in their preferences. The race fee covers essential items such as a bib with timing chip (for 20-mile, half marathon, and 10K runners), post-race refreshments, a finisher medal, and a digital certificate. Runners are encouraged to embrace the spirit of camaraderie that defines this event while respecting guidelines aimed at ensuring everyone’s enjoyment. The race is open to all levels of experience, from beginners looking for their first challenge to seasoned athletes seeking another milestone in their running journey. Join us on February 21st and be part of a day filled with energy, natural beauty, and the joy that comes from sharing this special moment with fellow runners at Hyderabad Central University.
