Hypothermic Half Marathon 2027 - Winnipeg

Winnipeg's Hypothermic Half returns for its next edition on February 6th and 7th, 2027, offering runners an exhilarating winter challenge with distances of 21.1km, 10km, and 5km to choose from. This year also introduces a new set of Challenge Events designed for those who want to push their limits further.
Participants will be assigned wave start times based on their expected finishing time during registration, ensuring an organized flow throughout the race day. The event encourages runners to carry personal hydration and nutrition due to limited self-serve water stations along the course. All races are chip-timed, providing accurate results that will be posted after the competition.
In-person registrants can look forward to a complimentary brunch following their run, enhancing the social atmosphere of the event. Additional brunch tickets for friends or family members who wish to join in on the post-race festivities are available during registration as well. Every participant receives Hypothermic Half swag and a finisher's medal upon completion.
Challenge Event participants will receive an exclusive package that includes two souvenirs, two finisher medals, one commemorative challenge patch, and a free brunch after each event they complete. Each runner in the Challenge Events will also be given a chipped bib for both events.
The Running Room is excited to host this year's Hypothermic Half with select cities participating in person while offering an option for those who prefer to run virtually from home or another location of their choice. Both options provide a unique winter running experience, complete with the thrill of racing and the camaraderie that comes with it.
