I2 IF Backyard Ultra

The En Backyard Ultra is an endurance challenge that invites runners to push their limits by circling a 6.7-kilometer loop as many times as they can manage, with each lap starting at the top of every hour. The course begins and ends at I2IF's club house in Sandbäckstjärn, winding through the historic training grounds of I2 on mostly gravel paths.
Scheduled for Saturday, September 5th, 2026, the event kicks off promptly at 10:00 AM with new starts every hour thereafter. Participants must complete a lap within an hour to be eligible for the next round, allowing runners to continue as long as they are capable and willing. The atmosphere is supportive yet competitive, fostering camaraderie among participants who share a passion for distance running.
