Iowa State Time Trial Championships

About the Event

The 2026 Iowa Masters Time Trial Challenge invites cyclists of all ages to test their skills on August 9th. Registration is open online until August 8th at 5:00 PM, ensuring ample time for participants to sign up comfortably.
On the day of the event, riders can register on-site from 7:15 AM to 7:30 AM, allowing a smooth transition into race readiness. This year's focus is on age and skill categories with Masters races segmented by five-year brackets, providing a competitive edge for seasoned athletes across various age groups.
The field will be organized based on registration order, starting with the 20K riders at 7:30 AM followed closely by the 40K group. This ensures fairness in start times and minimizes wait times between categories.
Medal honors await top performers. State championship medals are awarded to the highest-ranking USAC Road annual license holders within each category, including divisions for half-century, century, breakaway, and overall 20K and 40K races. Juniors will also be categorized by age and gender, ensuring a fair competition environment.
For those looking to set personal bests or challenge themselves, the LuAnne Lefler State TT trophy is up for grabs. This prestigious award goes to the fastest USAC legal time of the day, making it an exciting goal regardless of your race distance preference. Participation in this event not only tests physical prowess but also celebrates cycling excellence and camaraderie among Iowa's top riders.
