About the Event

Write your name into the history of British distance running at the 70th Isle of Wight Marathon on Sunday, 4th October 2026. As one of the longest continuously run marathons in the world, this event carries a unique legacy—it’s where Dale Greig set the first certified women’s world record in 1964. Tackle a challenging single-lap course on the island's scenic western roads, where every mile is a step through running history. With an entry limit of 400, this is your chance to earn a finisher’s medal from a truly historic and prestigious race.
