Proceeds will benefit Tucker’s Treehouse. Our program will be a free service to the community designed to meet the grieving needs of all children and teens within the tri-state. Our goal is to not only serve those suffering with grief from the death of a loved one, but also those wrestling with what we call a "living loss" which would include children whose parent(s) are incarcerated or in an active addiction and not present in their life. At Tucker's Treehouse, our focus is on catering to children and youth between the ages of 6 and 18. Additionally, we aim to offer resources and educational support to parents and caregivers involved in nurturing the children who participate in Tucker's Treehouse.

Owensboro is a town on the banks of the Ohio River in Kentucky's Western Coal Fields. It bills itself as the Barbecue Capital of the World and has had some interesting figures call it home over the years, such as Beulah Annan, whose story inspired the play and movie Chicago; Florence Henderson, aka Carol Brady of The Brady Bunch; NASCAR great Darrell Waltrip ; and Johnny Depp. On a darker note, it was also the site of the last public hanging in the United States, the subject being an African American, in 1936.
