Jackson County Tour De Habitat

Experience the breathtaking landscapes of Jackson County at the upcoming Tour De Habitat cycling event! This not only promises an unforgettable journey but also supports a noble cause—building homes and communities for those in need. The event is organized by Jackson County Habitat for Humanity, dedicated to putting God’s love into action through home building.
The race offers three scenic route options, each offering unique views of the countryside:
- 66-Mile Route: Departing at 7:30 AM, this route provides ample opportunities for refreshment with five SAG stops.
- 35-Mile Route: Starting a bit later, at 9:00 AM, it includes three strategically placed SAG stops to keep you energized and refreshed.
- 23-Mile Route: Departing slightly after the others at 9:30 AM, this route has two SAG stops for support.
SAG locations such as Dry Pond Church and Potts Meat Store will ensure that participants are well-supported throughout their journey. These rest points offer a chance to rehydrate and refuel before continuing your ride.
For riders' convenience, lunch is included with the registration fee and served from noon until 2:00 PM. A vegetarian option is available for those dietary preferences. Early registrants, by August 18th, are guaranteed a long-sleeve commemorative event t-shirt; late registrations will receive shirts as they become available.
