Honor our Veterans on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the 5th Annual Veterans Day Run. This year's run offers unique distances including an 11-Miler and 11K for those seeking a longer challenge, as well as more accessible options like the 1.1K and 5K routes. The event kicks off with the 1.1K race at 10:45 AM, followed by all other races starting promptly at 11:00 AM. Registration is free for this special day of remembrance, but online sign-ups close on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Day-of race registration will be available from 8:45 to 9:45 AM in the Wilson Sports and Fitness Center located at 11596 D Street. The event features a variety of terrain across its different routes. The shorter distances—1.1K, 5K, and 11K—are primarily out-and-back courses on Lewis North with mostly flat paths suitable for runners of all levels. In contrast, the longer 11-Miler includes some rolling hills that will test endurance but offer scenic views. Packet pickup is available at Wilson Sports and Fitness Center from Friday, November 6th to Saturday, November 7th. Participants can collect their event t-shirts (if pre-purchased by October 18) along with custom bibs during this time.
