JEANNOT TRAIL

About the Event

On October 4, 2026, the Firefighters' Association of Lafrançaise is set to host an exciting outdoor adventure called "Jeannot Trail." This trail run takes place in and around the charming village of Lafrançaise, located in the heart of Tarn-et-Garonne, France. The event promises a mix of scenic countryside paths and challenging trails that showcase the natural beauty of this rural French region.
Participants will experience rolling hills covered with lush greenery and vineyards as they navigate through various terrains including dirt tracks and forested areas. With distances ranging from 10 kilometers to half marathon, runners can choose an option that suits their fitness level while still enjoying the picturesque setting. The event is designed for both seasoned trail runners looking for a competitive challenge and newcomers seeking an introduction to off-road running.
Race day will feature lively pre-race activities in Lafrançaise’s central square where participants can gather with fellow enthusiasts, enjoy local cuisine, and take part in various community events organized by the Firefighters' Association. As the race kicks off at dawn, runners are treated to early morning sunrises over serene landscapes before heading out on their chosen route.
Post-race festivities include award ceremonies recognizing top finishers across different categories along with refreshments provided for all participants. This event not only celebrates athletic achievement but also supports local initiatives and community spirit through its partnership with the Firefighters' Association of Lafrançaise.
The Jeannot Trail offers a unique blend of physical challenge, cultural immersion, and scenic beauty making it an unmissable addition to any runner’s calendar.
