• Checkpoints: All runners must pass each CP. Functions include progress verification, aid (water, drinks, light snacks — no disposable cups), safety monitoring, and cutoff enforcement. Missing a CP results in disqualification.
• Cutoff Times: 30K — CP1 at 9:30 AM, CP2 at 12:00 PM, finish at 2:00 PM. 10K — 3 hour total time limit. Failure to reach CP by cutoff = DNF.
• Mandatory Equipment: Runners must carry all items listed on competition guide. Random gear checks may occur. Missing items may result in penalties or disqualification.
• Aid & Support: Semi-self-supported format. Runners must carry personal supplies for emergencies. External support (pacing, vehicle support, item delivery on course) prohibited except at designated CPs.
• Drop Bags: Available only at start/finish area. Retrieve after finish.
• Baggage Storage: Tent available on race day at start area.
• Refund Policy: Full refund until April 30, 2026 (23:59). No refunds after May 1. No name changes or transfer of entry.
• Cancellation: No refunds if race canceled due to natural disaster, severe weather, pandemic, or safety concerns. Domestic participants receive souvenirs by mail.
• Insurance: Organizer holds liability insurance for organizer negligence only. Personal accident insurance strongly recommended. Runners bear their own rescue/evacuation costs.
• Emergency Procedures: Call emergency number on bib. If unreachable, call 119. Ask other runners for help. Move to nearest CP if possible. Rescue team decisions are final.
• Medical Teams & First Aid: Deployed at each CP. Medical staff may disqualify runners for safety.
• Doping: Strictly prohibited — immediate disqualification and possible future entry bans.
• Environmental Policy: Zero-waste race — no disposable cups. Runners must bring personal cup/bottle. Littering = penalties or disqualification.

Swag, Awards & Community:

• Awards: Top 3 male and top 3 female finishers per category based on net time. Excluded if equipment penalty, disqualification, or doping violation.
• Race Pack: Includes bib, souvenir, and T-shirt (size collected at registration).
• Portrait Rights: Participants agree to use of race photos, videos, and likeness for media, marketing, and commercial purposes.
• Personal Data: Collected for identity verification, insurance, timing (including UTMB Index updates), emergency response, and merchandise delivery. Shared with insurers, timing providers, and UTMB Group.
• Withdrawal (DNF): Must notify nearest CP staff. Bib and timing chip invalidated. Shuttle buses available at CPs (priority for injured runners, waiting times possible).
