Jesienne Święto Biegów 8 listopada 2026

On November 8, 2026, runners from all backgrounds will converge at the picturesque Wąska wjazd near Restauracja "Stara Kuźnia" in Ogonki to participate in two exhilarating races: Bieg Niepodległości (Independence Run) and Biegi Bo lubię Lasy (I Love the Woods Runs). Both events are renowned for their scenic routes through a mix of forest paths and old railway trails, providing participants with an unforgettable running experience.
The day kicks off at noon with the 10 km race, "BiegamBoLubię LASY," which winds its way along well-maintained gravel pathways and rustic dirt roads. Just ten minutes later, the shorter but equally challenging Bieg Niepodległości on a 5 km course will commence.
Runners can expect an atmosphere charged with energy as they navigate through lush greenery and historic landscapes. Both races culminate at the same finish line near the railway viaduct, offering participants a sense of camaraderie and accomplishment upon crossing the threshold.
Awards are plentiful for those who excel in these events. Every participant receives a commemorative medal to celebrate their achievement. Competitive runners have an opportunity to earn additional accolades including trophies for top three places in open categories as well as age group divisions, with special recognition given to Węgorzewianka and Węgorzewianin winners.
Financial rewards are also available for the best performers:
- First place: 500 PLN
- Second place: 300 PLN
- Third place: 200 PLN
Winners in open categories will be granted free entry into next year's Autumn Race Festival, further cementing their status among the elite runners.
For those competing on behalf of local services and organizations, there are unique classifications to vie for as well. The team competition adds an extra layer of excitement with a minimum requirement of three participants including at least one female member. Teams accumulate points based on the sum of individual times, striving for that coveted top spot in the overall standings.
