About the Event

Join us for an invigorating fall morning at Newton Lake Park in Haddon Township, New Jersey, where runners and walkers of all levels gather for the annual JessRun 5K Race. This scenic course offers both competitive athletes striving to achieve personal bests and casual participants enjoying a leisurely stroll with friends.
The event takes place on October 10th, starting early at Newton Lake Park near Lakeshore and Lees Lane. Participants can pick up their race packets—complete with T-shirts and bib numbers—from 8 to 9 AM, followed by a warm-up session beginning at 9:20 AM. The race kicks off promptly at 9:30 AM.
Each finisher will receive a commemorative medal upon completion of the course. While the exact route may be subject to change, it typically winds through beautiful park pathways and around serene lakes, offering stunning views throughout the run or walk.

Woodlynne is a borough in Camden County, within the U.S. state of New Jersey, and a suburb located 4 miles (6.4 km) southeast of Philadelphia. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 2,902, a decrease of 76 (−2.6%) from the 2,978 recorded at the 2010 census, which in turn reflected an increase of 182 (+6.5%) from the 2,796 counted in the 2000 census. The borough is the state's eighth-smallest municipality. Established on the site of a defunct amusement park, the entire borough of Woodlynne is less than one-third the size of Six Flags Great Adventure and Safari.
