Dawn breaks as runners and walkers gather for an early morning start at the scenic venue. The atmosphere is electric with anticipation, fueled by the promise of fitness and camaraderie. Participants can choose between a 1.5-mile run or a more leisurely 3-mile walk.
The event kicks off promptly at 08:00 AM with the runners leading the charge down picturesque routes that wind through local parks and neighborhoods. The terrain is varied, offering both flat stretches for quick sprints and gentle inclines to challenge endurance. As the sun climbs higher in the sky, walkers follow suit from 08:30 AM onwards, enjoying a more relaxed pace along similar scenic paths.
Cut-off times are strictly enforced to ensure safety and fairness for all participants:
- For runners under 30 years old, you have until 12:00 PM.
- Participants aged 30-39 must complete their run by 01:30 PM (or walk by 04:00 PM).
- Those in the 40-49 age group are given an additional hour to finish running, with a cut-off at 02:00 PM for runners and 04:20 PM for walkers.
- Runners aged 50 and above have until 03:30 PM (or walk by 05:00 PM).
The event is designed not only to test physical limits but also to celebrate the joy of movement in a supportive community setting. Whether you're an early riser looking for a brisk morning run or someone who prefers a more casual stroll, there's something here that will suit your pace and preferences.
Packet pickup takes place from 06:30 AM until 07:30 AM at the event venue, giving participants ample time to arrive and get ready for their chosen activity.
