Jingle Bell Run

The Jingle Bell Run invites young runners to experience the joy of Christmas along Southbourne's picturesque promenade on December 12, 2026. This festive-themed race offers children and their families an engaging 3K journey filled with holiday cheer.
Participants will receive a custom medal, a charming ‘Jingle Bell’ Christmas tree decoration, and a sweet treat upon completion of the event. The atmosphere is vibrant and playful, encouraging all runners to embrace their creativity by dressing up in festive costumes such as Santa suits, Grinch hats, or whimsical fairy outfits.
The route features flat tarmac paths that cater to children of all ages, allowing them to run alongside adults for a fun-filled experience. Along the way, there are plenty of activities and games designed to keep everyone entertained, from face painting stations to opportunities to decorate personalized race bibs. Santa Claus and his helpers will also be present, adding an extra layer of magic to this special day.
The event is organized under UKA rules by the TRA, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. While the route follows an out-and-back path that allows children flexibility in turning back if needed, there are no official results as not everyone will complete the full distance. The Jingle Bell Run focuses on creating memorable moments rather than competitive achievements.
