Spring into Action at the JTREEQUINOX 12-Hour Run!
Dive into the heart of Joshua Tree, California, for an unforgettable day of desert running on private property. This scenic course offers runners a challenging yet rewarding experience over its winding singletrack trail that spans just one mile but can be covered up to 72 times by seasoned veterans.
Located at 6233 Juniper Rd., the event promises a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for both experienced ultra-runners and newcomers alike. The setting is nothing short of stunning, with sweeping desert vistas and rugged terrain providing an invigorating backdrop throughout your run.
This year’s JTREEQUINOX includes exciting shoe demos from Adidas Terrex and Altra, allowing participants to test the latest models on the course itself. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, there will be plenty of opportunities for gear testing and camaraderie among fellow runners.
Fuel up at our well-stocked aid station situated conveniently at the start/finish line. The menu evolves throughout the day, beginning with refreshing fruit, salty snacks, and electrolyte drinks before transitioning to heartier fare like grilled cheese sandwiches, quesadillas, and hot soup as the hours tick by. You’ll also have space for a chair or cooler next to you if desired.
Parking is limited on-site, so carpooling is highly recommended. If you plan to bring larger vehicles such as camper vans, trucks, or medical support units, please notify us in advance to secure your spot.
With only 50 spots available and awards given for reaching the ultra distance of 27 laps and top male/female overall finishers, this event offers a unique blend of competition and community spirit. Join us on April 1st at 7AM as we celebrate the spring equinox with a day filled with running, camaraderie, and delicious food.
